The South East Sports Academy (SESA) Hockey Program is offered in partnership with Hockey NSW. The program provides high performance training opportunities for talented young athletes from the Southeast region of NSW. The program provides athletes with skill assessment and development, education, and personal development.
The SESA hockey program will include weekly training sessions from November to April and an opportunity for athletes to compete in inter-Academy competitions. Scholarship holders will be required to undergo an induction process, attend weekly training, complete a home based strength & conditioning program and participate in academy activities. The program is for athletes competing in U16 & U18 NSW Hockey competitions.
SESA coaches must focus on a player centered approach to improving performance, understanding the athlete and developing them as a whole person. SESA coaches are provided with coach development opportunities. SESA is seeking expressions of interest for Coaches.
